Polypropylene (PP) Mesh Fiber 20mm (PPMEF20) — fibrillated reinforcing fiber for industrial floors, screeds and plasters with delivery across Estonia. During mixing the mesh structure opens and forms a three-dimensional framework inside the concrete — mechanical bond with the matrix is higher than monofilament fiber. Where is PP Mesh Fiber 20mm used
PP Mesh Fiber 20mm is used where enhanced bond between fiber and cement matrix is needed. In industrial and warehouse floors it reduces shrinkage cracking and improves impact resistance. In exterior screeds and pavements it provides resistance to freeze-thaw cycles. In plasters and facade systems it prevents crack networks during drying. Used in repair mortars and thin-layer coatings. For monolithic structural concrete consider Polypropylene (PP) Microfiber 12mm (PPMIF12).
How much PP mesh fiber is needed per m³ of concrete
Standard dosage — 0.9–2.0 kg per 1 m³ of concrete or mortar. Calculation example: industrial floor 50 m², thickness 10 cm = 5 m³ concrete → at 0.9 kg/m³ dosage need 4.5 kg = 5 packages 900g.
