Product
Fiber is a reinforcing material (polypropylene, polyvinyl alcohol, or steel) that is evenly distributed throughout the volume of concrete or cement-sand mix during mixing. Unlike reinforcing mesh, which only works in a single plane, fiber creates a three-dimensional reinforcing framework throughout the entire structure. This restrains microcrack formation during the shrinkage and strength-gain stage, improves crack resistance and impact toughness, and in the case of steel fiber, increases the structure's bending and shear load-bearing capacity. Fiber does not replace calculated load-bearing reinforcement in loaded structures, but effectively solves problems where mesh is excessive or impractical: ground-supported floors, screeds, non-structural slabs, shotcrete.
PP fiber (micro and macro) is the most common and affordable type of reinforcing fiber. It is chemically inert, not subject to corrosion or the alkaline aggression of concrete, and works well to control plastic shrinkage cracking. PVA fiber has significantly higher tensile strength and elastic modulus (see PVAMIF20), giving it better bonding with the cement matrix and making it more effective at the hardened-concrete stage — controlling drying shrinkage cracks and improving surface wear resistance. PVA is more expensive than PP and is used where higher fiber load-bearing capacity is needed without switching to steel.
Dosage depends on the fiber type and task. For PP microfiber (PPMIF06, PPMIF12), the typical dosage for shrinkage crack control is 0.6–0.9 kg per 1 m³. For example, at a dosage of 0.9 kg/m³ for a 5 m³ batch, 4.5 kg of fiber would be needed. For PP mesh fiber (PPMEF20), the typical dosage is 0.9–2.0 kg/m³. For PP macrofiber (PPMAF50), the dosage is higher and determined by the project's load calculation — typically from 3 to 25–40 kg/m³ depending on the required residual flexural tensile strength class. Open calculator →For non-structural elements — floor screeds, garden paths, loaded ground-supported slabs without high point loads — fiber fully replaces mesh in most cases and solves the task better: no installation required, doesn't shift during pouring, leaves no unreinforced zones from overlap gaps. For this purpose, polypropylene mesh fiber (PPMEF20) is well suited — thanks to its mesh-like fiber structure, it creates a denser reinforcing framework than ordinary microfiber. For structural elements (loaded foundation slabs, floor slabs, structures with design tensile forces) replacing mesh with fiber is only possible with a project calculation based on the residual strength of fiber-reinforced concrete, usually using steel fiber. The decision in each case should be made by the structure's design engineer.
Yes. All types of fiber (PP, PVA, steel) are chemically inert toward the cement matrix and do not react with superplasticizers, hardening accelerators, anti-freeze admixtures, or water-repellent compounds. Fiber can be added to the ready mix or dry blend together with other modifiers without restrictions on dosing order, except in the case of high macro- or steel fiber dosage — in this case, increased mixing time is recommended to ensure even fiber distribution and avoid clumping ("hedgehogs").
PP microfiber has practically no effect on the compressive strength of concrete — its main function is to control crack formation at an early stage, not to increase load-bearing capacity. Macrofiber increases residual flexural tensile strength and impact toughness, but they also do not replace compressive strength, which is determined by the concrete grade and mix composition. With proper dosage, fiber does not reduce concrete's strength characteristics in any respect.
The main task of microfiber is to restrain plastic shrinkage cracking, which occurs in the first hours after placing concrete due to evaporation of mixing water from the open surface. Evenly distributed fibers intercept tensile stresses at the stage when the concrete has not yet gained strength, preventing microcracks from developing into major cracks. This is especially critical for large open surfaces — floors, screeds, pads — where traditional reinforcement physically cannot prevent surface cracking.
Fiber should be stored in a dry, covered space without direct contact with moisture and without prolonged exposure to direct sunlight. Polypropylene and polyvinyl alcohol fiber have practically unlimited shelf life when storage conditions are followed — the material is chemically stable.

Payment is made by bank transfer, using the details we'll send you after you place your order. Online card payment is temporarily unavailable during the launch phase — this feature will be available soon.
There's no minimum order size for retail orders through the website — package sizes starting from 150 g let you buy exactly what you need for a specific batch. For wholesale or recurring supply (from several tens of kilograms), we recommend reaching out directly through the contact form — for these volumes we offer individual pricing and logistics terms not tied to the standard online store packaging.
Yes, individual pricing terms are available for bulk and recurring orders. The standard package sizes on the website (150 g / 600 g / 900 g) are designed for one-off and smaller projects at a fixed retail price. If you need a recurring volume — for example, for a series of projects or a production line — contact us through the contact form with your estimated volume and purchase frequency, and we'll put together an individual offer.
Yes. The simplest way to test fiber before a wholesale purchase is to order the smallest package size (150 g) of the type you need through the standard website catalog. This amount is enough for a test batch and to evaluate compatibility with your mix, ease of dosing, and behavior during mixing. To test macrofiber PPMAF50 for a specific project, contact us through the contact form — we'll discuss a test batch individually.
Polypropylene macrofiber PPMAF50 currently doesn't have a fixed retail price on the website and is supplied made-to-order. This is because the volume, packaging, and logistics for this product are individual and depend on the scale of the project. To place an order, click "Request a price" on the product page — your request will come directly to us, and we'll contact you to calculate cost and delivery timing.
Delivery
Delivery is handled through the Omniva pickup point network across all of Estonia. When placing your order in the cart, you select a convenient pickup point from the current list of terminals and parcel lockers. After payment, your order is passed to the logistics system, and you'll receive a notification once your parcel is ready for pickup at the selected location.
Delivery cost depends on the weight and dimensions of your order and is calculated individually. For example, for an order of PPMIF12 900 g priced at €11.50, delivery would be €3.46, bringing the total to €14.96. After placing your order, we'll send you the exact total amount including delivery and the payment details. For wholesale orders with individual logistics, delivery cost is agreed separately.
The standard delivery time within Estonia via the Omniva pickup point network is usually 1–2 business days from payment confirmation, depending on the distance of the selected pickup point from the logistics center. Exact timing for a specific pickup point is shown during checkout.
Direct pickup from our warehouse isn't available — all orders are routed through the Omniva pickup point network for consistency and trackability. That said, the Omniva network is so extensive that you can choose the terminal or parcel locker closest to you in practically any town in Estonia — giving you the flexibility of self-pickup without needing to come to our warehouse.
Yes, but since PPMAF50 is made-to-order rather than ordered through the standard cart, logistics for it is arranged individually — depending on the batch size, this can be delivery via Omniva or a separate freight company for palletized or large-volume shipments. Delivery terms are discussed during order confirmation after you reach out through the contact form.
B2B
Yes, B2B is one of our core business areas. The cart includes an option to switch the order type to "Business," where you provide your company name, registration number, VAT number (if applicable), and the email for invoicing. This information is submitted with your order and used to prepare the invoice after payment.
Our company is not VAT-registered, so the VAT number field on the B2B form can be left blank — it has no effect on order processing or invoicing. To place an order, it's enough to provide your company name, registration number, and email for invoicing.
Once you place your order as "Business" and provide your company details, the order comes directly to us — without online payment at this stage. We'll contact you to confirm the details and send you an official invoice for payment by bank transfer. Since our company is not VAT-registered, the invoice is issued without VAT.
There's no hard minimum for placing a B2B order through the website — a business can order any package size through the standard catalog, providing their company details. However, for recurring supply tied to a production cycle or a series of projects, we recommend discussing terms directly through the contact form — this allows us to agree on individual pricing, a fixed delivery schedule, and, if needed, non-standard packaging.
