Where is PP Macrofiber 50mm used
PP Macrofiber 50mm is used where structural concrete reinforcement without steel mesh is needed. In industrial and warehouse floors it replaces welded steel mesh — distributes load evenly throughout the slab volume, reduces labor costs and placement time. In parking areas and open spaces it provides resistance to dynamic loads and freeze-thaw cycles. For shotcrete it improves cohesion and reduces rebound. Non-corrosive in aggressive environments — advantage over steel fiber in high humidity conditions.
How much PP macrofiber is needed per m³ of concrete
Dosage depends on the reinforcement goal: ~4 kg/m³ for light reinforcement (crack resistance, general industry practice), 8 kg/m³ for moderate reinforcement / mesh replacement (2 bags of 4 kg — manufacturer-recommended, per Certificate of Analysis), up to 10 kg/m³ for high reinforcement replacing steel fiber (manufacturer-recommended).
